About me
A developer who learned the business side first
I started my working life as an office boy. In the evenings, after everyone had gone home, I taught myself HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP on the office computers. That habit turned into a junior developer role, then a developer role, and eventually into leading technical operations for a team.
Along the way I spent time as an ISA and real estate call agent on United States campaigns — qualifying leads, working CRMs, VoIP and SMS systems. That is an unusual background for a developer, and it is why I understand what a lead is worth before I design the form that captures it.

Do you take over projects another developer started?
Yes, and it's a large part of what I do. I'll audit the existing codebase or site first and tell you honestly whether it's cheaper to repair or rebuild, before either of us commits to anything.
Who owns the code and accounts when we're done?
You do. Repositories, hosting, domains and third-party accounts are set up in your name or transferred to you at handover. I don't hold client work hostage.
